The world’s biggest half marathon, the BUPA Great North Run is a point-to-point course that starts in Newcastle and finishes in South Shields.

Ovarian Cancer Action is the leading ovarian cancer charity in the UK. Ovarian cancer action funds research into ovarian cancer, raises awareness of the disease and gives a voice to women affected by it
