We’re now in range of the long term weather forecasts…
Light rain on Saturday in and around London / High Wycombe / Milton Keynes. Cloudy but no rain on Sunday around Leamington / Banbury. But when I checked this morning it said foggy but no rain for most of the route. Who knows what we’re going to end up with…
Have been checking the long-range weather forecast for a cople of weeks and so far I’ve see rain and freezing temperatures, sun and showers and more rain and mild temperatures. Weathermen are rubbish! I’m just praying for no wind or wind that helps blow us up the hills!
From the MetOffice
UK Outlook for Saturday 17 Nov 2007 to Monday 26 Nov 2007: For London and South East
A fairly mild start to the period is expected, but an area of frontal rain is likely to push southeastwards across the UK over the weekend with outbreaks of rain expected across all parts at some point, perhaps with some heavy bursts at times.
There is a good chance of that northwesterly airstream persisting next week. This would bring the driest and brightest conditions across southeastern parts of the UK and the most frequent showers or spells of rain in the northwest.
However, there is still significant uncertainty over the forecast for next week at this stage.

So basically, rain is pretty likely, along with winds from the North West – nicely into our faces!!
Although I particularly like the disclaimer at the end – it might all be rubbish!!
